Spancrete's technical professionals are some of the most experienced in the industry. Spancrete engineers, production supervisors, machine operators and installation technicians are all available to provide recommendations and solutions to any of your installation, operational questions or challenges.

These skilled hands-on professionals are involved in the Spancrete operations on a daily basis and have the knowledge, skills and experience to assure that your plant is running at peak efficiency and profitability.

The Spancrete R & D program is supported by two separate testing facilities. One is operated by a major state university which provides independent research and testing of Spancrete products. The second is a fully equipped testing facility operated by Spancrete Industries. These facilities provide complete testing of plank for load bearing, continuity, transverse bending, end bearing, shear strength and flexure as well as other structural characteristics. In addition, nonstructural characteristics such as fire rating, thermal values and acoustical properties are under constant review and testing by independent organizations.

Product improvements receive the ultimate test in the production environment. Equipment improvements are first incorporated in the Spancrete machines operated by Spancrete Industries. Only after thorough production testing are the modifications released to other franchise operations. For example, machine modifications that permit manufacture of Ultra-Light® plank were completely production tested at both of the Wisconsin plants and our Illinois facility.

All Machine modifications are production line validated on one of our own six production machines operated by Spancrete Industries.
